There are words that can define a person’s life. And Kyle Thomas Glasser lives by words that will lead him to success. His defining quote is by Bobby Unser: “Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.” Glasser demonstrates that credo by continuing to work toward his dream of becoming a doctor. He is a student at UGA, a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society and Honors Organization, as well as the American Medical Student Association. Glasser has positioned himself for achievement; he doesn’t wait for it.
There is another quote that spurs Kyle Thomas Glasser on: “Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be.” John Wooden is reported to have said this, and it’s something that Glasser takes to heart. Those words are something that helps to spur him forward and closer to his dream of becoming a doctor.
Kyle Thomas Glasser’s perseverance has already gotten him a large measure of success. He has been rewarded with scholarships, academic acknowledgments and the respect of his teachers, peers and family, all of which he is grateful.
